Although your child does not really learn math yet, they start counting to 20 and recognizing quantities. Besides language and math, there is also attention to gym and artistic education. During gym children learn to balance, climb, swing, jump and aim. They move to music and play games such as tag and hide and seek. In artistic education they make music, paint or craft with different materials.<\/p>\n
Your child may still need to get used to the primary school rhythm. That is why structure is very important in the kindergarten class. Your child’s social-emotional development makes big leaps in the primary school’s kindergarten class. Children learn how to deal with their environment and themselves. Your child learns to cooperate, tidy up and express themselves verbally.<\/p>\n
Topics like friendship and family come up. There is also attention to the seasons, weather and nature.<\/p>\n
Testing kindergartners is usually difficult because development often happens in leaps. What your child cannot do one week, they can suddenly do the next week. Age also plays a big role.
