Number of internship hours<\/h3>\n

The law on vocational education states how many hours of internship your child must do. The number of internship hours differs per course. It also matters if your child follows a BOL or BBL course. Does your child follow a BBL course? Then your child spends 610 hours per year on professional practice training. Your child works these hours for the learning company. What do you have to arrange?<\/h3>\n

For an internship your child must arrange some things themselves. Your child can look for a suitable learning company by themselves. The company must be recognized and meet quality criteria. It is also smart if your child already looks at sectors, professions and learning opportunities. Then it is clear which knowledge is important for which job and what the possibilities are to continue learning.<\/p>\n

Requirements for the internship place<\/h3>\n

The law on education and vocational training states exactly what requirements an internship place must meet. The course can reject an internship place of your child if it does not meet these. The internship place must be a safe and recognized learning company. Has your child found a company that is not recognized? The practical agreement<\/h3>\n

For each internship company your child signs a practical agreement or internship agreement. Is your child younger than 18? Then you as a parent sign this agreement. It contains the agreements made between your child, the internship company and the school. It must at least state:<\/p>\n
