The allowance is for students aged 18 to 30 in secondary education, secondary special education, and general adult secondary education. The basic grant does not depend on the parents’ income. Every child between 18 and 30 in secondary education has the right to it. The amount of the basic grant depends on the student’s living situation. If your child lives at home, the amount is lower than if your child lives independently.
