These choices affect the education and the way the school works.","inhoud":"<h3>Income and expenses<\/h3>\n<p>There are different ways schools get money: <a href=\"https:\/\/oudersenonderwijs.nl\/kennisbank\/schooloverkoepelend\/bekostiging\/lumpsum\/\">lumpsum<\/a>, money for tailored education, subsidies and project funds and also via the <a href=\"https:\/\/oudersenonderwijs.nl\/en\/the-voluntary-parental-contribution\/\">voluntary parental contribution<\/a> or for example <a href=\"https:\/\/oudersenonderwijs.nl\/kennisbank\/schooloverkoepelend\/bekostiging\/crowdfunding\/\">crowdfunding<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/oudersenonderwijs.nl\/kennisbank\/schooloverkoepelend\/bekostiging\/sponsoring-van-scholen\/\">sponsoring<\/a>. Some funds are only for specific goals, while other money can be used broadly.<\/p>\n<h3>Making choices<\/h3>\n<p>Each school makes its own choices in spending this money. These choices are important for education. Does the school choose an education assistant who supports the teacher? Or smaller classes? Or does the money go to laptops or a cleaning team? Do you want to know about the school&#8217;s income and expenses? Then the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocwincijfers.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OCW in figures<\/a> website from the ministry gives more information.<\/p>\n<h3>Financial policy and budget<\/h3>\n<p>Every four years many school governing bodies make new financial policy. Based on this policy, the school governing body and schools make an annual budget.
