If you have questions or problems, you can always contact our information point. It is best to call early so we can help stop the situation from getting worse. Depending on your case, we can discuss which steps to take and which other organizations can help you.<\/p>\n

Talk to the school<\/h3>\n

The first step is always to talk to the school. What is not going well? How can you solve that together? It is wise to include the internal support coordinator or duty of care coordinator in these talks. If this does not work, you can contact the school governing body. You can also object to a decision to remove the student. Do this within 6 weeks.<\/p>\n

Contact the partnership tailored education<\/h3>\n

If you cannot agree with the school governing body, you can contact the partnership tailored education<\/a>. They are responsible for good support for all children in your area. Each partnership tailored education has a parent and youth support point<\/a> where parents and students can get more information and help to find the right education. The partnership tailored education also gives an indication for special primary education<\/a>. This tells you what to expect when the school wants to move your child. Such an indication is the same as a declaration of admissibility.<\/p>\n

Education consultants<\/h3>\n

If talks with the partnership tailored education do not help, you can usually contact the education consultants<\/a>. They visit your home to discuss the situation with you. Together you make a plan that also involves the school. The education consultant works to solve the problem and help the student go back to school. They contact others who might help. If this does not work, they discuss next steps with you. Our staff can refer you.<\/p>\n

Dispute committee tailored education<\/h3>\n

If there is a serious disagreement, you can bring a dispute to the dispute committee tailored education<\/a>. Do not wait longer than 6 weeks. Parents can complain against the school governing body about:<\/p>\n
