And what does this mean for you and your child?<\/p>\n","inhoud":"<h3>What is a development perspective plan center?<\/h3>\n<p>A development perspective plan center is a temporary education place for students who get stuck at their own school. The goal is always to ensure that a student can return to a suitable place. Preferably their own school.<\/p>\n<p>A development perspective plan center offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>extra tailored support<\/li>\n<li>smaller groups<\/li>\n<li>calm and structure<\/li>\n<li>support with behavior, emotions, learning or planning<\/li>\n<li>help to reconnect with school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The development perspective plan center falls under the <a href=\"https:\/\/oudersenonderwijs.nl\/en\/knowledge-base\/25827-2\/partnership-tailored-education-and-the-parent-and-youth-support-point\/\">partnership tailored education<\/a>. The support is temporary and placement lasts as short as possible.<\/p>\n<h3>For which students is a development perspective plan center intended?<\/h3>\n<p>A development perspective plan center is for students for whom the education is (temporarily) no longer working. For example because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>school and student no longer understand each other;<\/li>\n<li>there are problems with behavior or emotions;<\/li>\n<li>the student struggles with social situations or stimuli;<\/li>\n<li>the student has not been able to keep up for a long time;<\/li>\n<li>the student is out\u2011of\u2011school children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A development perspective plan center is intended as a temporary step. It is a place where calm, structure and support are central. The goal is always that a student can continue later in a suitable place.<\/p>\n<h3>When is a development perspective plan center deployed?<\/h3>\n<p>A development perspective plan center is only deployed when it is clear that support at the current school is not enough. This usually happens in the following cases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>after school and parents have looked multiple times together at what is possible;<\/li>\n<li>if extra support at school is not enough;<\/li>\n<li>if the risk of out\u2011of\u2011school children is high;<\/li>\n<li>if the cooperation between school, parents and student breaks down;<\/li>\n<li>if the partnership tailored education advises that a temporary other place is needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The partnership tailored education ultimately decides about a placement.
