To do this well, there is also a legal <a href=\"https:\/\/oudersenonderwijs.nl\/en\/right-to-information-advice-and-agreement-school-participation-council\/\">right to information<\/a>. Without information, there is no well-considered advice. The staff group also has consent rights over the staffing. These rights are in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wetten.overheid.nl\/BWBR0020685\/2025-08-01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the law<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Guide to Financial Policy<\/h3>\n<p>To help school participation councils have the conversation with the school, Versterking Medezeggenschap has made a new guide. This guide contains a lot of practical and useful information. It includes information about what the law says about financial policy. There is also an overview of the yearly cycle with related documents. The guide also explains which responsibilities belong to the Central participation council or the school participation council. Finally, it offers some practical questions the school participation council can ask about the financial documents and the strategic policy plan.<\/p>\n<h3>New Course on Money Flows<\/h3>\n<p>Are you in the school participation council and want to learn more about the money flows in a school? And how you can fill your role as a council member well in this area? Then there are <a href=\"https:\/\/voo.nl\/cursussen\">different courses at VOO<\/a> to follow.
