Families returning from areas with an orange travel advice must quarantine at home for 14 days. Children from 4 to 12 years old may go to school or childcare. They can also take part in sports activities unless they have health complaints. Parents and caregivers may not come to school or the schoolyard during the quarantine period.<\/p>\n

Distance education during quarantine<\/h3>\n

Schools are asked to work with parents and children as much as possible to see what options for distance education exist during home quarantine. This way, students do not fall behind and can work on lessons at home.<\/p>\n

Rule<\/h3>\n

In the Netherlands, the norm is that a family returning from countries or areas with an orange travel advice due to the spread of the coronavirus must quarantine at home for two weeks. This currently includes countries like Sweden, Bulgaria, Romania, and Croatia. Keep following developments on the Rijksoverheid website<\/a>. The cabinet is still investigating how travelers can be registered.
