It is intended that all Partnership Tailored Education set up an independent parent and youth support point. This was announced by the minister for Primary and Secondary Education and Media in the letter ‘Policy note Evaluation and improvement approach Tailored Education<\/a>‘. The support points are set up by the Partnership Tailored Education together with regional representatives of students and parents. Partnership Tailored Education connect with existing regional initiatives and may use the services of these initiatives. In the latter case, the Partnership Tailored Education remains responsible for providing information and support to parents and youth.<\/p>\n

Representatives of Partnership Tailored Education, parent organizations and youth organizations are currently working on a practical guide for the formation of these parent and youth support points. The working group regularly consults their own base, but also collects input from other partners such as education consultants.<\/p>\n

The guide indicates which functions the parent and youth support points should or should not fulfill and which conditions the support points must meet. Partnership Tailored Education use the guide to assess their development steps towards a parent and youth support point. This clarifies which points of attention are important to include.<\/p>\n

The goal is that the guide is ready in September for all Partnership Tailored Education in primary and secondary education. From that moment, the formation of the parent and youth support points can be further developed. The responsibility lies with the Partnership Tailored Education.<\/p>\n
