<\/p>\nChildren only need to quarantine if they test positive for corona. Even if family members have corona, they may still go to school. 67% of parents support this change in quarantine rules. Parents are also much less worried about a corona infection at school. Where last year about 60% worried about it, this has now dropped to 49%. Moreover, a large majority of parents (80%) want schools to stay open from now on anyway.<\/p>\n

This does not apply to parents with vulnerable health or parents of children with vulnerable health. There are also parents who worry about the long-term effects of a corona infection (Long Covid) and the (rare) disease MIS-C that affects some children. This group (15%) wants stricter measures in the form of masks, air filters and stricter quarantine measures.<\/p>\n
More than 60% of parents worry about the learning delays their children suffered during the corona crisis. A quarter of parents are seriously worried. It is not surprising that parents worry. No less than 64% of children have missed lessons in the past month. The reasons are mainly teacher absence and children having to quarantine.<\/p>\n
