Education, student, and parent organizations sent the House of Representatives<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/oudersenonderwijs.nl\/nieuws\/oproep-tot-afschaf-vrijwillige-ouderbijdrage-in-het-primair-onderwijs\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">a letter<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> about this. This letter asks to abolish the parent contribution in primary education. The SP, D66 and GreenLeft-PvdA together submitted a motion. This motion asks the minister to check whether abolishing the parent contribution is possible. Many parents do not feel this way. Students are not excluded from extra activities if their parents do not pay the parent contribution. A law from GreenLeft and the SP was approved earlier on this.
