Data school holidays 2026/2027.

Do you want to plan your holiday based on the holidays for the school year 2026/2027? In this article you read when autumn break, Christmas holiday, spring break, May holiday and summer holiday are in school year 2026/2027.

Spring break 2027 

The advised dates for spring break 2027 are:  

• Region north: 20 February to 28 February 2027
• Region middle: 20 February to 28 February 2027 
• Region south: 13 February to 21 February 2027 

Note: these are advised dates. Your child’s school can differ from this. Spring break is almost always in February and is also called the carnival break or crocus holiday. 

May holiday 2027 

Most schools have May holiday from 24 April to 2 May 2027.

All schools have a one-week compulsory May holiday. Many schools give one extra week off after this. The advised dates for the second week of May holiday are the same for all regions: 1 May to 9 May 2027. 

Note: one week in the May holiday is advised. Your child’s school can differ from this. 

Summer holiday 2027

The compulsory dates for the summer holiday 2027 are: 

• Region north: 10 July to 22 August 2027 
• Region middle: 17 July to 29 August 2027 
• Region south: 24 July to 5 September 2027
