Since Last Year, The Mobile Phone Ban Applies At Schools. Parents And Children Are More Positive About This Ban. As Much As 88% Of Parents Support The Mobile Phone Ban In Class. This Is 27% More Than Before The Ban Was Introduced.
A Ban In The Whole School Also Has Growing Support From Parents: 56% Of Parents Support This. Before The Ban, Only 36% Of Parents Supported It.

More Children Are Positive Too
Children Are Less Positive About The Ban. Yet Parents Say Support Is Growing Among Them. Now A Majority Of Children (53%) Favor A Ban In Class. In 2024, This Was 45%.
There Is Still No Big Enthusiasm Among Children For A Ban In The Whole School, But The Number Of Supporters Has Also Grown. In 2024, 17% Supported A Whole School Ban, In 2025 This Rose To 28%.
Schools Choose A Whole School Ban More Often. In 2024, 30% Of Schools Had This, In 2025 It Was 36%.

Parents Notice Positive Effects Of The Mobile Phone Ban
More Parents See Benefits. The Biggest Benefit Parents See Is That Their Child Can Focus Better. Other Benefits Are That Their Child Has More Social Contacts And The Classroom Atmosphere Has Improved. One In Three Parents Also Thinks Their Child Gets Better School Results Due To The Ban.
Most Parents Do Not See Disadvantages. More Than Half Of Parents Say They Cannot Name Any Disadvantage. A Small Group (17%) Thinks It Is A Disadvantage They Cannot Reach Their Child During School Hours. And 16% Say Their Child Has Problems Using The School App.

Better Communication About Exceptions Is Needed
For Children Who Need A Mobile Phone For Medical Or Other Reasons, Schools Must Allow Exceptions. Half Of Parents Do Not Know What Rules The School Has For This. Schools Should Communicate Better About The Options To Make Exceptions To The Mobile Phone Ban.
