Parents as partner in education
At Ouders & Onderwijs, we hear daily from parents how important good contact with school is. When parents and school cooperate, it contributes to the development and well-being of children. Yet parents sometimes experience barriers to asking questions or sharing concerns. That is why it is important that schools see parents as partners, not as a problem.
In the interview, Lobke Vlaming shares her vision on parent involvement and how schools can create space for open conversations and cooperation.
