Result of secondary school transition test.

When will the secondary school transition test 2025 results come?

Between March 3 and 15 schools will receive the results of the secondary school transition test. Your child’s school will tell you this by March 24 at the latest. Result of secondary school transition test higher than school advice?

If your child scores higher on the secondary school transition test than the provisional school advice from January, the primary school must adjust the school advice to the test result. The school must then be able to explain and support why it is really not good for your child to raise the advice.

For example, if your child scores one whole school level higher on the secondary school transition test but the school only wants to raise it by half a school level? In exceptional cases the school can do this if they think it is not good for your child. They must have good reasons for this. Do you disagree with the school advice? Then talk with the school. If you cannot agree, you can file a complaint.

Test advice in group 8

The official name for the result of the secondary school transition test in group 8 is the test advice. Five of these are double test advices: pro/vmbo-b, vmbo-b/k, vmbo-k/gt, vmbo-gt/havo and havo/vwo. Only a high score can result in a single vwo test advice.
