Again problems with the delivery of school books.
The new school year is best started with all your books. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many students. 40% of parents in our study say their child has not yet received all schoolbooks. Parents report most problems with supplier Iddink. This is shown by a survey of the Landelijk Ouderpanel, where 435 parents participated.
School has already started, but the books are not here yet
Students in the South region have been working for two weeks now. Yet 25% of parents say their child has not received the schoolbooks or only partly received them. Students from the Central region started this week. Here 37% have to start with an incomplete book package. Many parents and children in the North region are still waiting. 55% of parents say their child has not yet received the schoolbooks. At least ten percent already know that the schoolbooks have (partly) been delayed.

Where does it go wrong?
Participants in the survey report the biggest problems with supplier Iddink. 49 of the 149 parents state that the package from Iddink is delayed (32%). With supplier TLN/Van Dijk, most problems are reported with delays of part of the schoolbooks (22%). Supplier Osinga de Jong does best. So far, 77% of parents have not noticed any delay. The fewest problems seem to be at schools that manage the delivery of books themselves. Only one of the 21 parents indicates that the schoolbooks are partly delayed. No parent indicates that the school delivered the full book package too late.
