Opportunities and risks of TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram

Commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, consulting firm Berenschot researches how TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram can affect the rights and well-being of children. The research looks at the opportunities and risks these platforms bring. They do extensive research based on scientific and legal sources but also want to hear parents’ experiences.

Group conversation

How do you experience your child’s use of TikTok, Snapchat and/or Instagram? Through a digital group interview, Berenschot wants to talk with you and other parents about what your child sees online and other important topics like contact, privacy and health. What opportunities and risks do you see? Your experiences are very important to us! You also hear other parents’ experiences. Your answers remain anonymous. The results of the study are publicly shared after completion but cannot be traced back to you or your child in any way.
