Jeroen kreijkamp is appointed chairman of Ouders & Onderwijs, the organization for parents with school children.

Kreijkamp fills the role of chairman without pay alongside his job as director at Hilversum Marketing. Ouders & Onderwijs has a board working remotely. Lobke Vlaming leads the daily running of the organization as director.

Kreijkamp on his new role: ‘‘I find it important that the interests of parents are well considered in the future of education in the Netherlands. That is why I want to help the foundation Ouders & Onderwijs develop further.”

Jeroen Kreijkamp has been director at Hilversum Marketing since the start of this year, which helps strengthen the economic strength of Hilversum. From 2010 to 2018 he was alderman for Education and more in Utrecht for the political party D66. Kreijkamp was also chairman of the education committee and a member of the executive board of the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG).
