‘The Use Of Commercial Tutoring Agencies Says Something About Education Quality’.

"The fact that so many parents use commercial tutoring agencies says something about the quality of education," says Ouders & Onderwijs director Lobke Vlaming. She said this Wednesday evening on the program EenVandaag. The current affairs program gave attention to their research on tutoring in cooperation with Ouders & Onderwijs.

Research by EenVandaag in cooperation with Ouders & Onderwijs shows that secondary schools promote commercial tutoring agencies or work with them. This goes against the advice of education minister Mariëlle Paul. She wants to prevent inequality of opportunity because only children of wealthy parents can pay for extra teaching support. EenVandaag paid attention to the research Wednesday evening during the broadcast.
