Useful website for finding and comparing schools.

Do you want to find and compare schools nearby easily as a parent? The renewed website of schools on the map is now available. For primary and secondary schools.

By improving schoolsonthemap.nl, the titles of some chapters and indicators have changed. There are now five chapters: about the school, the education, results, satisfaction and contact. Each chapter has different indicators. These describe the characteristics of the school.

Comparing schools

Much has stayed the same. Information is available for every school you want to learn about. This way, you can see at a glance:

• What the characteristics are
• Which levels are offered
• Where most students come from
• What extra support the school gives
• How many students moved on in recent years
• What the pass rate is
• What the average exam score is
• Whether students and parents are satisfied with the school

Government

The website is based on figures that come directly from the government. Agreements have been made about this with DUO and the Education Inspectorate. Schools can add their own information here about things like atmosphere, satisfaction or policy.
