Do you like to carry out research from start to finish? Do you have a fluent writing style, know how to attract attention to the results, and have a good eye for news and current events? Do you know how to reach different groups of parents to help the parent panel grow? And do you want to work independently with a lot of responsibility in a small organization with committed colleagues? Then we are looking for you at Stichting Ouders & Onderwijs!

What will you do?

As coordinator of the parent panel, you are responsible for everything about the Landelijk Ouderpanel: an online panel with almost 10,000 parents. You conduct research, draw attention to the results, help the panel grow, and ensure further development of the parent panel. This way, you contribute to showing the opinion of parents and of Ouders & Onderwijs. Your tasks include:

• You create questionnaires, carry out fieldwork, and analyze the results
• You proactively respond to current events and bring these into the parent panel
• Together with colleagues, you decide the topics for research and polls
• You promote the research results among the press, media, politics, and education field by writing articles, press releases, and reports
• You are involved in further development of the parent panel in terms of technology and user-friendliness, together with our external partnership Tailored Education
• You critically review user-friendliness and make improvement proposals
• You prepare the annual report the Staat van de Ouder and ensure the results are well visible within the education sector: online and at meetings
• You create a recruitment plan to increase and make the number of parents in the parent panel more representative. You also execute this plan together with colleagues from the communication team
• You maintain contact with relevant partners
• You report on progress, results, and the content focus

Who are you?

The coordinator of the parent panel we are looking for is analytical, curious, precise, and proactive. You can quickly grasp complex subjects, work with data, and work in a planned and independent way. You have a critical eye and a flexible attitude. You know how to involve colleagues at the right moment and are solution-oriented and pragmatic. You feel involved in the topic of education, stay alert to current events, and can understand the world of parents at and around school.

What do you bring?

• Experience and interest in conducting research and data
• Experience with project-based work
• You write well and quickly see the main thread and connections
• You know how to motivate different groups of parents to participate in the Landelijk Ouderpanel
• You have an interest in the topic of education
• You can understand parents’ perspectives and think from this point of view
• A completed HBO or WO degree in education, social sciences, or communication is a plus

Where will you work?

We are a small organization with an enthusiastic and dedicated team. Each colleague has their expertise and works largely independently. Together we have a lot of knowledge and experience. We work in an informal atmosphere with attention for each other. You will work in the communication and parent panel team.

Our office is located by a beautiful green courtyard, 10 minutes walking from Utrecht Central station. Partial homeworking is also possible.

About Ouders & Onderwijs

Stichting Ouders & Onderwijs is an organization for all parents with children of school age. Ouders & Onderwijs does two things: we help and represent parents. We help parents by informing and advising them about everything related to education. We represent parents towards politics, the education sector, and the media. Through our Landelijk Ouderpanel, with more than 9000 parents connected, we know what plays and lives among parents.

What do we offer you?

This position is for 32 hours per week. We offer a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension. The salary ranges, depending on education and work experience, between €3500 and €4500 gross per month on a full-time basis (36 hours per week). It is preferred if you can start soon.
