Wanted: Most parent friendly school in the Netherlands.

Ouders & Onderwijs is 10 years old. To celebrate, we are looking for the most parent friendly school in the country. You can help with this. Nominate your child's school for our unique award now.

Award for the most parent friendly school

Is your child’s primary school, secondary school, or mbo education a perfect example of good cooperation with parents? Do you have a special story about parent involvement, parent friendliness or unique parent initiatives that you want to share? This is your chance to tell these stories and highlight your child’s school or education. The winners will get a festive award ceremony and prize!

How it works

You can nominate your child’s school from Monday, august 26 to October 6. Make sure to nominate your school before this date. You can do this alone or with other parents.

An independent jury chooses three schools per category that stand out. There are three categories: primary and special primary education, secondary special education, and mbo education.

Everyone can vote until November 10. Mid November the winning schools are announced during a festive ceremony.

Why these awards?

Research shows that children benefit from parent involvement. Your child performs better and feels safer at school if the school works well with you. Schools that work on this deserve to be honored.
