Webinar about state exams for parents and students.
Every year thousands of students take one or more secondary school transition tests. These are, for example, students from special primary education (special education) or from a private school. They are also students who cannot attend regular education for other reasons.
Parents and students often have many questions about this. That is why Balans together with other parent and student organizations is organizing a webinar about the state exams on November 4.
What will you learn in the webinar?
During the webinar you will get an explanation about the state exams. You will hear for whom the exams are intended and how they work. There is extra attention for candidates with support needs and for the adjustments that are possible for them.
Does a candidate need an adjustment? Then it must be requested in time. For candidates from special education schools, the school arranges this. That must be done before December 1. Individual candidates must request the adjustment themselves at DUO. They must do this before February 1.
- Angélique Coenraads from the Board for Tests and Exams explains about the secondary school transition tests. Who are they for? How does it work?
- Jorn Ruiter from DUO talks about tailored examination. These are adjustments for students who need extra support.
