Consultation hour experiment education care arrangements.
In the new year, the experiment with education care arrangements will start. This means that participating schools or institutions can offer more tailored support to students who need help. Do you have questions about the experiment? Or do you want to know more? On Thursday evening, January 19, we organize a consultation together with the ministries of OCW and VWS.
Education And Care Often Separated
Children who need extra care must be able to go to school. This can be difficult because care and education are often separated and hard to combine. For example, funding is separate, and laws say that children follow lessons at school. The government wants to arrange care and education better for children with big support needs. With the experiment education care arrangements, the government looks with education care initiatives for options and solutions.
Experiment Education Care Arrangements
On January 1, 2023, the experiment education care arrangements (oza) will start. In the experiment, participants can deviate from laws about funding, school time, teaching content, and school location. Schools and care organizations can give more tailored support to children with complex needs. The ministries want to learn what works. They will use this information when changing the laws. The experiment is by the ministries of Education, Culture and Science and Health, Welfare and Sport. Up to 80 organizations could sign up and take part.
