Parents Den Haag Unite In Stadouder!.

In den haag has an active group of parents united in a new platform for and by parents: Stadouders. Together they want to improve education and the community in den haag. Will you join them too?

Den haag parents stand up for their education

The new platform for and by parents, Stadouders is starting! Stadouders focuses on the key issues in den haag education. They want to make education and children’s learning better by having parents work smarter with schools, teachers, other citizens, entrepreneurs, and governments. But in a different way: with the parent as initiator. This way, they build a community that can take care of itself and others.

Will you come too?

From March 30, they organize several events where parents and children are welcome. Want to know more about the plans? Parents can sign up right away to join. Want to meet the initiators of Stadouders? Then come to one of the kickoff meetings below:

• Saturday, March 30 at coöperatie EVA. Address: Buitenom 6
• Wednesday morning, April 3, 9:00 am at Jan van Nassau school
• Wednesday afternoon, April 3 from 2:00 pm, before the show “All whistles, strings and drums” at het Zeeheldentheater (with press presence from Scheveningsche Courant)
• Friday, April 12 workshop at Single Super Mom
• April 12 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm training Dare to Do (subject to change)

How can parents join?

Parents can join the parent initiative in different ways:

• Report: Parents can raise problems and improvement suggestions to Stadouders so these can be reported to the right authorities.
• Inform: Reporting point, website, social media, newsletters, themed Stadouders meetings, projects.
• Learn: Gather educational expertise among parents within Stadouders to give advice to the municipality and schools, asked or not.
• Undertake: We can offer services ourselves that are now done by external agencies. This increases our knowledge, our position, and brings income.
