What do you pay for your child’s digital learning tools?.
More and more schools use digital learning tools such as tablets, laptops, and calculators. What costs do you have for this? What do you think of these costs? And do you feel pressure from school to pay for this? Ouders & Onderwijs wants to know what parents think about this.
The impact of school costs on parents
Data from the School Costs Monitor shows that parents have spent more on school costs in recent years. Especially laptops and tablets are large financial investments for parents. The ministry states that these costs are never compulsory.
We want to know if you have costs for these digital tools and if you feel pressure from school to buy a laptop or tablet. Also, some parents buy graphic calculators for their child.
By joining the study, we get insight into what parents think about these costs. Based on the study results, we can share these signals with politicians and the education sector. Joining the study takes about 5 minutes.
Join the discussion in the Landelijk Ouderpanel
With the Landelijk Ouderpanel, Ouders & Onderwijs maps parents’ opinions and experiences about current education. We use the results in talks with professionals, the government, and politicians. We also improve the available information about parenting and education. Want to give your opinion too? Sign up for the Landelijk Ouderpanel.
