End of corona measures at school.
Also at primary school, secondary school and mbo institution the last corona measures will end. From now on, there is no need to be tested preventively. Furthermore, children who use student transport do not have to wear a face mask from next Wednesday. The ministry announced this this week.
Teachers, pupils and students no longer have to do a self-test twice a week preventively. The advice remains to do a (self)test if you have complaints. For now, it is still possible to request self-tests for this, both for pupils and staff.
Face masks on public transport
The obligation to wear face masks in and around public transport ends next Wednesday (March 23) and this also applies to student transport. Where it is crowded, you can protect yourself and others by wearing a face mask.
Basic advice
The end of measures does not mean corona infections are history. On the contrary, the number of infections has been rising recently. Basic advice still helps to prevent infection: wash your hands, cough and sneeze into your elbow, stay at home if you have complaints and test, ensure enough fresh air and get a vaccine, booster or repeat shot.
