Parents Talking About Tailored Education.

3 April 2024 News

Raising children is not always easy. Questions are sometimes just part of it. Especially if your child needs extra support. Do you want to talk to other parents about Tailored Education and hear how they do it? Together with Katrien Laane from OpvoedParty we organize four digital meetings. There is limited space, so sign up fast!

What will we do?

During the online evening, you will talk with up to 8 parents under the guidance of Katrien Laane about dealing with (not) Tailored Education. Right or wrong does not matter. In a SamenWIJS-OpvoedParty you tell how you do it, not how it must be done. And others can learn from that. Your ownWIJSness is central. So share your experiences, ask questions, and get inspired. At the end of the evening you will feel heard and have inspiration to work on at home.

Four online meetings

We organize four online meetings of one hour. One for parents with a child in primary school, two for parents with a child in secondary school, and one for parents with a child in mbo. The meetings are on these dates:

  • April 18: Secondary school
  • May 23: Mbo
  • June 3: Primary school
  • June 24: Secondary school·

Program

The meetings last from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. You will receive the link to the meeting at the end of the afternoon. The digital door opens at 7:45 pm. Around 8:00 pm we start with a short introduction. Then we start the conversation. Around 9:00 pm we close the meeting.

During the conversation, we have the following principles:

  • Every question or experience matters
  • Every parent has the best intentions
  • A parenting question is not a help request
  • Every parent is an expert about their own child

We look forward to your attendance!

There is not one way to be a perfect parent, but there are a thousand ways to be a good parent..
