Every child is different. One can follow lessons at school well, another needs some extra help. This can be in the form of extra explanation, study material, or at another special school. This is the basis of Tailored Education. The National Government has put two informative brochures online with more explanation.

What is important to know as a parent? And how can you work well with your child’s school? The brochures give as many answers as possible to questions parents have about Tailored Education. At the end of the brochure, there is a glossary. By clicking on the underlined words in the text, you come to the glossary and the explanation.

Parent and youth support point

Why these brochures? Part of the improvement agenda for Tailored Education was that every Partnership Tailored Education gets a parent and youth support point. These brochures were specially made for these support points. So that parents involved with Tailored Education have clear information available.
