This must be known about the exam result 2023.
Passed, failed or a retake? Today is an exciting day for thousands of exam candidates in the Netherlands. After months of hard work, they receive the result of their central written exam. We hope everyone can celebrate today. This is what you can expect:
Passed?
The big moment has arrived: your child took exams and hopes to get a diploma. If your child took exams in the first period, you will receive the result on Wednesday 14 June 2023. Schools call between 12:00 and 17:00. The specific schedule for that day will be communicated by the teacher as it can differ per school. To determine if your child passed the exam, there are different rules and criteria. When does your child pass the exam for vmbo, havo or vwo?

Every exam candidate can retake one subject of the official central exam. If you pass it, you still pass your exams. The retake takes place in the second period of the central exams. The retake result is announced on 6 July. What do you need to know about the retake?

Your child has failed the final exam. That is very unfortunate. What now? Can you still make sure your child passes this year? Can your child repeat the exam year? And what are the other options? We give you an overview of the choices:
