Support for study delay

Sometimes a student is late due to special reasons. For example, illness, pregnancy, disability, or family problems. The school can add other situations. The support is money. Your child can get support for study delay only if:

• Your child follows a BOL course
• Your child no longer has the right to study finance

Support for education supplies for families with a minimum income

You can get help from the mbo student fund when you do not have enough money to buy school materials like a laptop, books, or work clothes. This support can be money. The school can also lend the supplies or buy them for your child. Your child can get support for supplies only if:

• Your child can prove they do not have enough money to buy school supplies.
• Your child follows a BOL course
• Your child is younger than 18 years

Compensation for student council participation

Is your child in the student council of the mbo school? Or does your child work in another way for the school or the mbo? For example, in a board or school participation council. Then your child has the right to financial compensation. It does not matter how old your child is or if your child follows a BOL or BBL course or gets a basic grant.

Rules in mbo school policy

The mbo school sets the rules for the mbo student fund in policy. This policy says how and when you can apply, how long the support lasts, and what amount or support the student has the right to. The student council has a say in this school policy.
