Autumn holiday 2025
The recommended dates for the autumn holiday 2025 are:
- Region north: 18 october to 26 october 2025
- Region middle: 18 october to 26 october 2025
- Region south: 11 october to 19 october 2025

Christmas holiday 2025
The christmas holiday 2025 is for all schools from 20 december 2025 to 4 january 2026. The christmas holiday is the same for all regions.
Spring holiday 2026
The recommended dates for the spring holiday 2026 are:
- Region north: 21 february to 1 march 2026
- Region middle: 14 february to 22 february 2026
- Region south: 14 february to 22 february 2026
Note: these are recommended dates. The school of your child may differ from this.
The spring holiday is almost always in february and is also called the crocus holiday or carnival holiday.
May holiday 2026
Most schools have may holiday from 18 april to 3 may 2026.
All schools have one week mandatory may holiday from 25 april to 3 may 2026. Many schools also give an extra week off. The recommended dates for the second may holiday week are the same for all regions: 18 april to 26 april 2026.

Summer holiday 2026
The mandatory dates for the summer holiday 2026 are:
- Region north: 4 july to 16 august 2026
- Region middle: 18 july to 30 august 2026
- Region south: 11 july to 23 august 2026
